A special recognition for the Concierges of Grand Hotel Union

Two Grand hotel Union concierges, Gregor Žibert and Blaž Sok, who became members of the globally renowned `Les Clefs d’Or` association of hotel concierges in January 2018, received an award for exceptional performance and contributions to service quality improvement at the 65th Hospitality and Tourism Conference in Portorož. Blaž Sok in Gregor Žibert are Grand hotel Union’s premier Concierges. Their complete dedication to providing the highest level of service makes them an indispensable part of the hotel’s team. About the Hospitality and Tourism Conference The beginnings of the Hospitality and Tourism Conference, the longest-running hospitality and tourism event in Slovenia, go all the way back to 1953. The meeting brings together expertise, quality and exchange of intergenerational experience in the area of hospitality and tourism. The 65th conference took place on the 8 and 9 October 2018 at Hoteli Bernardin hotels. About Les Clefs d'Or Members of the association, whose roots go back to Paris in 1929, are easily identified by the association's emblem, the golden crossed keys on the lapels of their uniforms.
